|125 g||almond flour|
|125 g||blanched almonds, grated|
|200 g||powdered sugar|
|3 TL||plum kernel oil tsp|
|2 EL||mineral water|
|grated orange or lemon peel|
Separate the egg yolks and beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. Stir the egg yolks with the powdered sugar until foamy, add 2 tablespoons of mineral water, then add the grated almonds, almond flour, plum kernel oil and the lemon peel (alternatively orange peel) and work into a dough. Carefully stir in the egg whites.
Bake the dough in a greased springform pan (26 cm diameter) on the middle rack in the oven at 170° C for 55 min. After cooling, carefully remove from the form, sprinkle with powdered sugar and garnish with almonds as desired.
