So why not try the original product, free from fragrance or preservatives, for a natural skin and hair care - especially one of the organic and residue-free coconut oils by Ölmühle Solling?

Coconut oil for hair care

Using coconut oil for dry hair is very easy. Depending on the length of your hair, apply 1 to 2 teaspoons of coconut oil to your hair. Let soak for at least 30 minutes. Rinse the oil off and wash your with a mild shampoo that matches your hair type afterwards.

For dry ends, you can massage half a teaspoon of coconut oil to your ends and leave it on overnight. Please remember to cover your pillow with a towel. Wash your hair the next day.

Coconut oil for dry skin

Dry skin needs richer care than normal or oily skin. You can pamper your dry, rough skin (e.g. at the elbows or knees) with coconut oil. Half a tablespoon is enough - the body temperature of around 36 °C makes the coconut oil fluid so that you can apply it easily. Let the oil soak in entirely before you get dressed. The skin can absorb the oil best after a shower or a bath while the skin is still slightly moist. This way, oil and water will emulgate to a moisturizing mixture.

Coconut as lip balm

Dry lips often occur in summer or winter. Coconut oil can be a remedy for this: Simply apply a small amount of coconut oil to your lips before you go to bed. The oil can soak in overnight and smoothes the chapped lips. Furthermore, coconut oil can be used as lip balm during the day. Positive side effect: Coconut oil makes your lips shine - even if you apply lipstick.

Coconut oil for the cuticles

Both the skin around the nails as well as the cuticles can be particularly stressed as they are almost constantly exposed to water and other substances that might dry out the skin. If applied overnight to nails and cuticles, coconut oil can soften the skin and prevent the skin from cracking.

Coconut oil for the scalp

Dandruff and itching can be signals for a dry scalp. To relief your skin, you can massage 1 to 2 teaspoons of coconut oil to your scalp and leave it on overnight. Please cover your pillow with a towel to keep it clean. Wash your hair with a mild shampoo the next day to remove oil residues.

Coconut oil as massage oil

Coconut oil is perfect for massages. Take 1 to 2 teaspoons of coconut oil and use the warmth of your hands to make it become liquid. If you prefer you can also warm it up a bit, e.g. on the stove. Next, apply the melted coconut oil on the back of the person you would like to massage and start massaging. For massaging the arms and legs, use further coconut oil.

Coconut oil as make-up remover

Coconut oil can also serve as natural make-up remover. Put a small amount of coconut oil on a cotton pad and remove lipstick, eye or face make-up. This way, even water-proof products can be taken off easily, quickly and, above all, midlly.

Coconut oil for skin and hair care: What you need to know

Even though coconut oil is usually very tolerable, you should try it out on a small area of your skin before using it to see if any irritations occur. In that case, it is best to not use it for your skin or hair care. The same applies if you are allergic to coconut oil in general. Additionally, coconut oil is not recommended as skin or hair care product for people with acne.

High-quality coconut oil for your skin and hair care
