Our soup greens spice oil combines popular soup herbs with our freshly milled cold-pressed canola oil. It has an aromatic taste that is suitable for classic minestrone, all kinds of vegetable soups, stews and potato dishes.
This spice oil contains an aromatic spice mix of paprika, hyssop, lovage, celery leaves, parsley, chives, nutmeg, caraway, pepper, fenugreek seed extract and onion. The product name used to be minestrone spice oil. Minestrone is Italian for "big soup" and refers to a nourishing vegetable soup with ingredients like potatoes, celery, carrots, leek or onions, tomatoes, white beans or peas.
Our soup greens spice oil is also perfect for noodle or potato dishes, other soups or "green-tasting" bouillons. With aromatic flavours like paprika, onions, hyssop, lovage, celery, chives, carawy, chervil, nutmeg and white pepper, it refines meat sauces as well. You can also use it for raw food, vegetable or rice dishes, salad dressings and even marinades. The spice oil has a very aromatic taste, so we recommend to dose it sparingly.
With valuable canola oil from Germany
If you have visited the German countryside from end of April to May before, you probably have noticed the beautiful yellow canola fields. Not just any canola: For our fine cold-pressed edible oil, we only use organically grown canola seed. That way, we can make sure that it is free from manure, sewage sludge, artificial fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides as well as genetic engineering.
Therefore, we focus on annual contracts with certified organic farms in Germany and fair prices for the farmers - to ensure the high quality of our canola oil in the long term. Our culinary treasure, also known as "olive oil from the North", even exceeds olive oil in its content of polyunsaturated fatty acids. All in all, it is the perfect basis for our soup greens spice oil.
