Hanfsamen, Hanfmehl und Hanföl

Our unpeeled hemp seeds in raw food quality are from organic cultivation in Europe. The seeds are rich in fibre and have a nutty taste. You can either use them whole or ground as supplement for yogurt, muesli or smoothies. They are also suitable as baking ingredient, for salads or vegetable dishes. Store well sealed, in a cool, dark place. Edible hemp seed has no intoxicating effect. The seeds must not be used for sowing.

Origin and history of hemp

Hemp, with its distinctive leaves, is one of the oldest crops in the world and originates from Central Asia. Shortly after its discovery the plant was also cultivated in Europe. The active ingredient tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) has made hemp known as a intoxicant but also as a medicinal plant. Today, many varieties with a low THC content are cultivated. Especially in Europe, there are numerous varieties that are almost THC-free.

Usage

Unpeeled hemp seeds are ideal for yogurt, smoothies, muesli or porridge. With their nutty taste, they enhance salads as well as hot and cold vegetable dishes. Also suitable as baking ingredient for bread or buns. Hemp seeds can be used whole or ground.

Die Hanfsamen sind ganz lecker, aber ich mag die doch recht harte Schale um die Samen herum nicht so sehr (weil ungeschält). Die Qualität ist aber sehr gut.
