Truffle Seasoning Oil
Our Truffle Seasoning Oil is a balanced blend of organic extra virgin olive oil from Italy with the unmistakable organic flavour of white truffles. The rare white truffles of the "tuber magnatum pico" variety from the Calabria region are a true delicatessen speciality for gourmets and connoisseurs. This type of truffle is very aromatic and is often used to refine olive oil. Organic olive oil is also produced in this region. The precious truffle oil is ideal for risotto, pasta, meat and fish dishes.
Crema del Borgo
Our Crema del Borgo is made from freshly pressed Pinot Noir grape juice, produced in the same way as a genuine Aceto Traditionale. The grape juice is fermented in two stages, first into red wine and then into vinegar. A slightly cooked grape must of the same variety is added to the young vinegar to give it its typical sweet note. It is then aged in small oak barrels for two months to mature into a mild, harmonious balsamic vinegar. With its sweet note, the balsamic vinegar enhances salads as well as hot and cold dishes.
Walnut Oil
Our Organic Walnut Oil in our factory from carefully selected, unroasted organic walnuts. This fine oil is one of the most popular edible oils and is suitable for both hot and cold dishes. Walnut oil should not be used for frying due to its high polyunsaturated fatty acid content.
Walnut oil is particularly recommended for use in salads, soups and sauces, desserts, pastries, creams and dressings. Combined with a sweet vinegar, such as our Crema del Borgo, walnut oil can be used to make an aromatic salad dressing.
