Our organic plum kernel oil is a true oil rarity. The exceptional oil is gently cold-pressed the aromatic kernels of freshly harvested plums. The plum kernels for this precious oil come from controlled organic cultivation. We dry the kernels and remove the solid shell before we start with the actual oil production in spindle presses.
Plum kernel oil is appreciated for its natural, aromatic scent and taste that reminds of marzipan. Its fatty acid composition is similar to apricot kernel oil and almond oil. Our plum kernel oil is vegan, lactose- and gluten-free.
For desserts and salads
Our freshly milled cold-pressed plum kernel oil is ideal for refining and seasoning desserts or jams (e.g. plum jam). Moreover, it is perfect for fruity cocktails, ice cream, fine pastries or cakes. Also suitable for special salad dressings, sauces or dips.
