This pesto will delight any gourmet. Crunchy, fresh walnuts from sustainable organic plantations and Italian hard cheese (Parmigiano Reggiano) form the basis of this culinary highlight. Our organic walnut pesto, made with Mediterranean herbs and spices, cane sugar and salt, is a delicious blend with our organic cold-pressed walnut oil.
A small amount of our chilli oil gives this pesto a deliciously spicy note. It is not without reason that our Walnut Pesto is an absolute hit in our range. Heavenly as a sandwich spread or with mozzarella and of course with the classic: pasta. Our Walnut Pesto is also a great addition to salads. Just mix one or two teaspoons of walnut pesto with walnut oil and a mild vinegar and drizzle over the salad.
We still do a lot of things by hand, starting with the selection of raw materials and the gentle, traditional processing. Italian hard cheese, Parmigiano Reggiano, with its charismatic aroma, forms the basis of our three types of pesto. The large blocks of Parmesan are broken up by hand in our factory and carefully chopped. We make our pestos in small batches. This preserves the flavour and high quality. Founder and food technologist Werner Baensch is a passionate cook and also the developer of our popular pestos.

Our Cashew Pumpkin Seed Pesto and Mediterranean Cherry Tomato Pesto are real favourites on pasta, sandwiches or in salads.
Our Organic Cherry Tomato Pesto is made with crunchy cashews, Italian spices and our Mediterranean Seasoning Oil. This tangy, fruity pesto with high quality dried cherry tomatoes is perfect on pizza, sandwiches or baguettes. It is also a great ingredient for salads, meat and vegetable dishes.
Our Organic Cashew & Pumpkin Seed Pesto is made with hand-picked cashews and pumpkin seeds, spicy roasted onions and a fruity hint of apple. Roasted pumpkin seed oil adds a special touch. Pesto is ideal when things need to be done quickly in the kitchen: it works well with pasta and in home-style dishes, such as refining potato salad.
Keep in the fridge and make sure the pesto is always covered with oil. Once opened, store in the fridge at around 7°C and use within a week.
