Argan Hair Care Oil

Our Organic Hair Oil with Argan and Broccoli Seed Oil is an intensive moisturising treatment for healthy, shiny hair. A blend of natural essential oils gives a sensual fragrance. Balsamic-sweet, slightly woody notes characterise the fragrance, which is also described as warm and earthy. With its light texture, the hair oil is suitable for all hair types and can be used as a hair treatment or leave-in conditioner.

Argan oil is one of the most tried and tested oils for hair and scalp care. The Moroccan oil has numerous benefits, including protecting the hair from UV rays and harmful environmental factors that can damage and weaken it. Argan oil can also protect against the heat of hairdryers and flat irons. Regular use also combats dandruff and moisturises dry scalps. Overall, the hair's resistance is strengthened.

Our argan oil is sourced from a women's cooperative in Morocco. It is extracted from the fruit of the argan tree, also known as the argie. The fruit is about the size of a date and resembles a yellow plum when ripe. It contains a kernel the size of an almond. Inside are one to three argan nuts. This is where we get our argan oil. It is used both as an edible oil and in natural cosmetics.

Make your own nourishing hair masks

You can also make your own hair masks to keep your hair looking its best. Mixed with natural foods and ingredients, they will nourish your hair without the help of the chemical industry. Our tip for adding moisture to damaged hair: Mash a quarter of a soft avocado with a fork and mix with a teaspoon of coconut oil and a teaspoon of argan hair oil. Massage the mixture into towel-dried hair and scalp. Cover with a towel and leave for at least 30 minutes. Then wash out with a mild shampoo and dry and style as usual.

Use as a conditioner and leave-in

As a hair treatment, apply a generous amount to towel-dried hair, leave for at least 30 minutes and rinse with a mild shampoo. For a more intensive treatment, leave on overnight. As a leave-in treatment, depending on the texture of your hair, apply a few drops of argan oil to the palms of your hands and massage into the lengths and ends of your hair.
