|4||roastbeef of German Red (or Angus)|
|400 g||fresh vegetables like aubergines, zucchinis, bell peppers, onions|
|2 TL||Herbes de Provence spice oil|
|1 TL||Mediterranean spice oil|
|1 TL||herb garlic spice oil|
|2 TL||barbecue spice oil|
|1 Prise||salt and pepper|
Wash vegetables, cut into pieces and blanch in salt water until al dente. Place in ice cold water afterwards to preserve the colour. Brush the steaks with barbecue spice oil from both sides and grill. Sauté the vegetables in Herbes de Provence spice oil in a pan and season with salt and pepper. Place on a plate along with the steaks. Drizzle with Mediterranean or herb garlic spice oil and serve. Goes well with baked foil potatoes or baguette with herb dip.
Tip for especially tender steaks: Wrap the meat in aluminium foil after grilling and let rest in a warm place for 5 minutes, e.g. at low heat in the oven. That way, the meat juice is retained which prevents the meat from drying out.
