Our pomegranate seed oil is made from dried pomegranate seeds which are carefully cold pressed. For half a liter of this oil, we use 100 kg pomegranates which makes this product a true rarity. The light yellow, nutty pomegranate oil is not only perfect for gourmets but also for enthusiasts of precious natural skin care.
It is rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids and contains approximately 85 % punicic acid. For dressings and dips, enjoy it straight from the spoon or use it for skincare.
Valuable punicic acid
Punicic acid, a component of pomegranate oil, is a rarity as well: It was named after the botanic name of pomegranate, punica granatum, and belongs to the group of omega-5 fatty acids. This fatty acid can only be found in very few oils. Pomegranate seed oil contains as much as 85 g punicic acid per 100 g which makes it highly recommended for skin care.
Gourmet cooking with pomegranate seed oil
Pomegranate seed oil adds that special something to dressings and dips and pairs perfectly with fruit salads. Just a few drops create an exquisite taste for fish or meat dishes. It is also ideal for desserts, mueslis or smoothies because pomegranate seed oil helps the body to process liposoluble vitamins in fruits.
Pomegranate seed oil for skin care
Both the cosmetic industry and our customers appreciate pomegranate seed oil for skin care. It can be applied directly to the skin as rich care overnight and also has moisturising and soothing effects on mature or dry skin. Moreover, you only need a few drops of the precious oil so the bottle will last a long time.
