ORGANIC Borage oil capsules vegan

We fill our borage oil into purely vegetable capsules that are tasteless and easy to dose. They are suitable for daily intake as a dietary supplement. The recommended daily amount is six capsules (3g oil). The capsules are guaranteed to be free from artificial flavors, colors and preservatives. The jar contains 180 capsules.

Borage as a medicinal herb

Borage (Borago officinalis) is a typical farmer's garden herb. The plant with the small, blue flowers is also popularly known as blue sky star, heart's delight, little love eye, good cheer flower or cucumber herb. The reason: the leaves of the plant have a characteristic cucumber flavor. Borage was considered a valuable medicinal plant many hundreds of years ago, and the flowers and leaves of the herb were also used medicinally.

Oil with a high content of gamma-linolenic acid

We gently press our borage oil from the seeds of organically grown plants. Borage seed oil is characterized by the fact that it has the highest gamma-linolenic acid content of all known oils: around 21 g per 100 g. It also contains saturated fatty acids, oleic acid and linoleic acid. The fatty compounds include vitamin E, flavonoids and tannins. Borage oil has a greenish-yellow color and a sour taste. Ingredients are preserved through gentle pressing

Our borage oil, which we offer as oil and dosed in vegan capsule shells, is a good source of unsaturated omega-6 fatty acids. Cold-pressed borage oil contains a particularly high proportion of these, especially the triple unsaturated gamma-linolenic acid. Unsaturated fatty acids are essential and cannot be produced by the body on its own. These fatty acids must therefore be obtained from food.

We press the seeds of the borage plant at low temperatures. Cold pressing enables us to offer borage seed oil of the best raw food quality. The gentle extraction of the oil preserves the valuable, natural ingredients.

Vegan capsule shell

Capsule shells often consist of ingredients with animal by-products. One frequently used substance is bovine gelatine, for example. The capsule shells in which our organic borage oil is filled consist of certified and purely plant-based ingredients (HPMC) and are therefore also suitable for a vegan diet. Our capsules are plug-in capsules.

Recommended intake: Take 3 capsules in the morning and 3 capsules in the evening, unchewed, with sufficient liquid. Do not exceed the recommended dosage(6 capsules per day). Food supplements are no substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
