The small seeds of the hemp plant have numerous precious ingredients: hemp seed oil consists of up to 70 g of unsaturated fatty acids per 100 g. Next to linoleic acid and alpha-linolenic acid, it contains 2 to 3 % of gamma-linolenic acid, a rare omega-6 fatty acid, which plays an important role in a healthy skin metabolism. Furthermore, it supplies the body with chlorophyll, carotinoids, phytosterols as well as vitamins, such as tocopherols (vitamin E).
