Jojoba Skin Care Oil

Organic Jojoba Oil from Solling Naturkosmetik has a moisturising effect and also protects mature skin from drying out. With its waxy, light texture, it forms a delicate, non-sealing lipid film with the skin's natural sebum, which binds moisture to the skin, allowing it to breathe. It absorbs quickly and provides long-lasting moisture without being greasy or sticky. The oil is extracted from the seeds of the jojoba tree.

The shrub: jojoba

Jojoba grows as an evergreen shrub and can thrive in very dry places. There are both male and female shrubs. The flowers of female jojoba shrubs produce fruit. They are green at first and later become brown and wrinkled. The fruits resemble large green olives. When the capsules burst they release the seeds. Jojoba wax - also known as jojoba oil - is extracted from the seed capsule and is liquid at room temperature.

Face and body scrubs

Exfoliation helps the skin regenerate and unclog pores. With our jojoba oil, you can make your own exfoliating scrubs in no time: Mix sea salt, coconut blossom sugar, almond bran or coffee grounds with the oil, depending on the size of the grains, and rub over the skin in circular motions, then rinse off with lukewarm water. This gently exfoliates while revitalising and nourishing the skin. Body scrubs are best used in the shower.
