This organic white wine vinegar is made from high-quality wines. Carefully produced, it develops into a light, fresh vinegar that tastes ideal with delicious summer salads. The pleasantly tangy taste should not be missing in any kitchen. Our white wine vinegar is an absolute classic and more versatile than almost any other vinegar. It is suitable for refining leaf salads, sauces and dips, for example. The acidity of the vinegar is around 6 percent.

Traditional production thanks to the vinegar mother

If you discover a cloudy, jelly-like mass in an opened bottle of vinegar after some time, this does not at all mean that the vinegar is spoiled. In fact, the opposite is the case. It is a good sign of a traditionally produced and unpasteurized vinegar: A so-called "mother of vinegar" forms. This is the name given to the important acetic acid bacteria that convert alcohol into acetic acid with the help of oxygen. As soon as a vinegar is opened and comes into contact with oxygen, these natural little helpers can become active again.

Vinegar in fine cuisine

vielen Dank für Ihre Bewertung.

Der Mindestgehalt an Säure ist gesetzlich vorgeschrieben:

min 5 % Säure bei Obstessig
min 6 % Säure bei Weinessig

Wir würden Ihnen daher empfehlen, von Weinessig auf Obstessig umzusteigen. Zusätzlich sind die Obstessig i.d.R. etwas süßer und lassen den Säuregehalt nicht so durchkommen.
