Our basil spice oil is an aromatic combination of mill-fresh, cold-pressed canola oil from organic cultivation and freshly harvested basil. The popular spice oil is rich in unsaturated fatty acids, vegan, lactose- and gluten-free.

Basil is an essential spice for every kitchen. When fresh basil is not available, our basil spice oil is the perfect alternative to refine pasta and pizza and, of course, classic tomato mozzarella salad.

Fresh basil with organic canola oil

Basil (Ocimum basilicum) is one of the most popular herbs for authentic Mediterranean cuisine. And rightly so: The fragrant-herby aroma of fresh basil leaves is irreplaceable. Unfortunately, dried basil leaves lack the distinct, fine aroma. And even though basil in a pot is available almost all year around, it often wilts shortly after the purchase.

This is where our basil spice oil comes in handy: It is a perfect combination of freshly harvested basil leaves and our cold-pressed canola oil fresh from the mill. The valuable oil keeps the scent and flavour as well as the essential oils and phytochemicals. This way, you can enjoy fresh basil taste throughout the year.

Dieses Öl war eine Offenbarung, als wir es zum ersten Mal zum Testen bestellten... nun diesmal ist es eins unseren Lieblingsölen geworden und es wird höchstwahrscheinlich immer wieder bestellt. Die Kinder lieben es im Mozzarella-Tomaten-Salat, aber nicht nur, auch in anderen frischen Salaten eine köstliche gelungene Mischung.... mehr >>
Nicht nur die Kinder... die Großeltern waren zu Besuch und das Öl wurde sehr schnell immer weniger. Also hiermit haben sie es auch zum Weihnachten als Geschenk dabei ;-) .

Ich habe dieses Würzöl mal zum Probieren bestellt und wir sind restlos begeistert! Es ist der Hammer! Unglaublich lecker und aromatisch! Es gibt den Speisen eine ganz besondere Note. Ich habe es bereits zu Spaghetti mit Gemüse-Tomaten-Soße (zum Verfeinern vor Verzehr, nicht Mitkochen!) und in Tomaten-Mozzarella-Salat benutzt.... mehr >>

Eine der größten Entdeckungen: sehr lecker und gelungen. Wir haben Gäste und wir merken, wie jeden Tag die Flasche leerer wird. Gut bekömmlich, tolle Geschmacksnote, eins unserer Lieblinge. Bestellen wir gerne wieder. Am liebsten hätten wir es gerne in größeren Flaschen oder Kanister bestellt. Hoffentlich kommt es ja noch.

Das Basilikum Würzöl schmeckt recht intensiv, kleine Mengen reichen oder man mischt es z.B. mit Olivenöl, bevor man es über Tomate-Mozzarella gibt. Oder einen Schuss in die selbstgemachte Knoblauchbutter geben. Es ist praktisch, es gleich im Haus zu haben, da ich nicht immer frisches Basilikum da habe.
