Black cumin oil on spoon

Our Egyptian black cumin oil is filled into purely vegetable capsules after gentle cold pressing. The vegan capsules are ideal as a food supplement for daily intake. The popular black cumin oil is known for its strong, spicy, slightly peppery taste, which plays a role especially in oriental cuisine. However, the oil is not only suitable for refining dishes, but is also popular in naturopathy. The oil from controlled organic cultivation is characterised by a high content of linoleic acid. The vegan capsules are suitable for easy and tasteless intake, and they are also easy to dose. The recommended daily amount is six capsules (3g oil). The capsules are guaranteed to be free of artificial flavours, colourings and preservatives. The jar contains 180 capsules.

Vegan capsule shell

Capsule shells often consist of ingredients with animal by-products. A frequently used substance is, for example, bovine gelatine. The capsule shells in which our black cumin oil is filled consist of certified and purely vegetable ingredients (HPMC) and are therefore also suitable for vegan nutrition. Our capsules are plug-in capsules.

Black cumin oil and its effect

Black Cumin Oil Capsules

Black cumin oil contains a large proportion of the essential, doubly unsaturated linoleic acid. In loose form, the oil has a distinctly intense flavour of its own, which is due to bitter substances. The bitter substances are also the reason for the popularity of black cumin oil in natural medicine. In the Orient, this popular natural product has been considered a traditional remedy for thousands of years. It is still used there today not only for digestive and immune system-enhancing purposes but also as a household remedy for skin and hair care.

The origin of black cumin

As a spice, the seeds of black cumin are known especially from pita bread or various oriental dishes. Black cumin seeds look confusingly similar to black sesame seeds. Black cumin was once known in this country as "bread root" and grew in many farmer's gardens before it fell into oblivion. In Egypt and surrounding countries, black cumin has been very common since the time of the pharaohs and has always been used for various purposes. Even today, the best qualities thrive in Egypt.

Secondary plant substance thymoquinone

Thymoquinone is a secondary plant substance. It belongs to the group of terpenes and is found in black cumin, among other things. Our black cumin oils have a minimum content of 266 mg/100 g thymoquinone. The aroma profile of thymoquinone is often described as spicy. The smell is reminiscent of a hint of black pepper, oregano or thyme.

Terpenes fulfil various functions in the plant kingdom, such as protection against pests, attraction of pollinators and defence against pathogens. In addition, they contribute to the characteristic scents and aromas of many plants. For example, they are found in essential oils of citrus fruits, conifers and flowers such as lavender and rosemary.

Usage

Recommended dosage: Take 3 capsules in the morning and 3 in the evening, unchewed, with sufficient liquid. Do not exceed the recommended intake (6 capsules per day). Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

Habe ich zum 1. Mal bestellt.
