Our organic apple balsamic vinegar comes from 100% certified organic production. An aromatic, tart apple juice is obtained from local apple varieties. While one part is concentrated into apple syrup, the other part is fermented into a cider, from which a naturally cloudy apple vinegar is obtained through natural vinegar fermentation. The vinegar is stored and matured in small oak barrels. It is then mixed with the apple syrup to give it its rounded, pleasantly mild flavor.

Traditional production thanks to the vinegar mother

If you discover a cloudy, jelly-like mass in an opened bottle of vinegar after a while, this does not mean that it is spoiled. On the contrary, it is a good sign of a traditionally produced and unpasteurized vinegar: A so-called "vinegar mother" forms. This is what experts call the important acetic acid bacteria that convert alcohol into acetic acid with the help of oxygen. When a vinegar is opened, these natural little helpers can become active again under certain circumstances.

Vinegar in fine cuisine

Our fine vinegars and mill-fresh oils can be used to prepare vinaigrettes in endless variations. The basic recipe is very simple: 1 part vinegar, 3 parts oil and salt and pepper to taste. Our vinegars are also ideal for seasoning soups and sauces and wherever a touch of acidity is needed to add an extra accent. Tip: A splash of apple, sour cherry or blackcurrant vinegar in mineral water is particularly refreshing and thirst-quenching.

Bei den vorherigen Bewertungen hatte ich den Hinweis, Wasser + Apfelessig, gelesen und ausprobiert. Jetzt in der heißen Jahreszeit ein Genuss. Sehr erfrischend. Ich mache mir immer eine Mischung, wenn ich mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs bin. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Fruchtiger, angenehmer Geschmack, naturtrüb. Wir nutzen den Essig sowohl für den Salat, als auch zur Abrundung des Geschmacks bei gebratenem Gemüse. Kaufempfehlung ohne Einschränkung.

Der Apfel Balsamessig gibt Salaten ein wunderbar frisches und zugleich weiches Aroma, das nicht zu sauer ist. Er kommt auch bei meinen eher süß liebenden Familienmitgliedern gut an.

Dieser Essig hat für mich einen sehr runden, ausgewogenen Geschmack. Ich verwende ihn gerne für bittere Salate, die durch die weiche Säure des Essigs sehr gut ergänzt werden.
