Our organic avocado oil has an intense green color and is gently extracted from the pulp of fully ripe avocados from certified organic cultivation. The ripe flesh is ground with sterile, cold water and the oil is then gently separated using a centrifuge. Temperatures of 40° C are not exceeded during the extraction process. The oil is therefore of raw food quality and the gentle processing allows us to ensure that valuable ingredients and the typical taste are retained.

Suitable for quick frying

Due to its fatty acid composition, avocado oil can be heated and can therefore also be used for frying fish, meat and vegetables. Avocado oil is also ideal for skin care due to its content of high-quality fatty substances and vitamins A, E and D.

Avocado oil consists mainly of unsaturated fatty acids, including 45 - 62 g per 100 g of oleic acid (18:1), 12 - 13.5 g per 100 g of linoleic acid (18:2) and 0.7 - 3.3 g per 100 g of alpha-linolenic acid. In terms of saturated fatty acids, it contains 16 - 20 g per 100 g of palmitic acid (16:0) and 5.6 - 10 g per 100 g of palmitoleic acid (16:1).

The avocado fruit

The avocado is a single-seeded berry. In addition to the flesh, it has a large seed inside which makes up around 13 to 18% of the entire fruit. The avocado is 5 to 9 cm wide and between 7 and 20 cm long. The outer skin of the fruit is typically green, but can also turn dark green to dark red depending on ripeness and storage. The flesh of the avocado is not only suitable for making oil, it can also be eaten raw.

Das Avokado-Öl ist etwas für Menschen, die Avokados mögen. Ich gehöre nicht dazu. Viele Öle passen sich dezent in die Speisen ein bzw. heben den Geschmack insgesamt an. Das Avokado-Öl überdeckt jedoch alles. Man schmeckt nicht mehr die einzelnen Speisen, sondern hauptsächlich Avokado.

Sicher kein schlechtes Öl, ziemlich dickflüssige Konsistenz (vermutlich so auch richtig), geschmacklich hat es mich jetzt nicht vom Hocker gehauen. Vielleicht versuche ich es später nochmals.

Das Avocadofruchtfleischöl wird explizit als geeignet zum Braten beworben. Tatsächlich hat es aber schon bei niedrigen Brattemperaturen eine hohe Rauchentwicklung.

Ich mag gerne Avocado, aber das Avocadoöl war leider nicht mein Geschmack. Die Qualität von Solling ist immer hervorragend, daran habe ich keinen Zweifel

Nicht mein Geschmack, schmeckt für mich nach dem Wasser, das bei eingefrorener und wieder aufgetauter Avocado zurückbleibt.
