ORGANIC Set Golden Milk

Golden Milk is a drink from Yoga cuisine that is becoming more and more popular, especially due to its health benefits. It is a detox drink based on almond milk. The special ingredient in Golden Milk, also known as golden latte, is turmeric. It stems from the ginger family and has been an integral part of traditional oriental cuisine for thousands of years. In Germany, the roots are mostly known as ingredient in Southeast Asian dishes. Next to its exotic flavours, turmeric powder has an intense orange-yellow colour which is a highly effective natural dye. The aromatic golden powder made from turmeric plays an important role in Ayurvedic cooking and is said to have many healing effects, e.g. anti-inflammatory properties. The detox drink is often based on almond milk but you can also use oat or soy milk. Many recipes recommend to add a teaspoon of almond oil per cup. So warm or cold Golden Milk is the perfect recipe to try out our cinnamon almond spice oil.

Our cinnamon almond spice oil is a fine composition of sweet cinnamon and freshly milled almond oil. It refines smoothies and Golden Milk, rice pudding or muesli and adds an aromatic cinnamon note to desserts, ice cream and whipped cream.

After harvesting, the yellow rhizomes are peeled, dried at temperatures below 40 °C and ground to a fine powder. Thanks to the gentle production process, the valuable ingredients and the natural colour are preserved. Our virgin coconut oil is made from ripe coconuts from organic cultivation in Sri Lanka and the Philippines. The coconut flesh is gently dried and, after removal of the brown skin around the kernel, milled to fresh coconut oil. The valuable oil from the exotic nut is not only exquisite in taste, it is versatile and healthy too. Even though it contains many saturated fatty acids, it is a special kind of fatty acid the oil supplies: Coconut oil is rich in medium chain triglycerides like lauric acid. Lauric acid makes up almost half of the fatty acids in the oil and it is, among other things, an integral component of breast milk. In combination with diverse cooking, organic coconut oil can contribute to a healthy and balanced diet.
