Our fried onion coconut spread is a special spread with around 14 g omega-3 fatty acids per 100 g. In this delicious mix, the fresh, cold-pressed flaxseed oil is durable for a long period of time if stored in the fridge. The solid coconut fat protects it from oxidation and thereby prevents the precious flaxseed oil from turning bitter like pure cold-pressed flaxseed oil would.
For maintaining a normal level of cholesterol
Alpha-linolenic acid, an essential omega-3 fatty acid, contributes to maintaining a normal level of cholestorol in the blood. Only 1 to 2 slices of bread with 15 g of the spread cover the daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids of an adult which corresponds to 2 g alpha-linolenic acid.
With precious organic coconut oil
Our virgin coconut oil does not only have an exquisite taste, it is also appreciated for its valuable ingredients: Even though coconut oil consists of many saturated fatty acids, it is the kind of fatty acids that matters. It mainly contains medium chain triglycerides (MCT) such as lauric acid. Lauric acid makes up almost half of the fatty acids of coconut oil and is, among others, an important component of breast milk. Combined with diverse cooking, organic coconut oil can contribute to a balanced, wholesome diet.

Virgin coconut oil (58 %), cold-pressed flaxseed oil (29 %) with crunchy fried onions and apple chips.

Usage
A savoury alternative for lard, butter or margarine.
Spreadable if stored in the fridge, melts at a temperature over 25 °C; becomes solid again when cooled.
We do not use thickeners or other substances which would slow down the sinking of the apple chips. Using only natural products, it is not easy to overcome the laws of physics. Therefore, we think it is best to simply stir the spread every now and then to solve the problem. Take the jar out of the fridge and wait until the spread has a creamy texture. Stir and mix using and spoon and place it back in the fridge.
Consume within 4 weeks after opening. Not suitable for frying.
