Wheat germ

The tiny germs of the wheat grain are gently pressed to make this wheat germ oil. It is rich in omega-6 double unsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E (192 mg per 100 ml of oil), which has antioxidant properties. Vitamin E helps protect cells from oxidative stress.

The positive effect is achieved with a daily intake of 12 mg of vitamin E. This corresponds to an amount of approximately 6.5 g (2 teaspoons of 3 g each) of wheat germ oil. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

The fresh, virgin oil can be kept for 6 to 9 months if stored correctly (well closed, cool and dark). Eat a varied and balanced diet and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Wheat is one of the oldest grains and has been used by humans in various forms for thousands of years. At Ölmühle Solling, wheat germ oil is valued for its valuable ingredients. The golden yellow oil is cold-pressed from the tiny seedlings of the wheat grain. This is the only way to preserve the valuable ingredients in their best form.

Wheatgerm oil for skin and hair care

Valuable wheat germ oil is also very popular as a skin and hair care oil. It can be used on its own as a rich moisturiser, or mixed into your daily moisturiser for face and body. A hair treatment with wheat germ oil is particularly nourishing for the hair: simply apply 1-2 teaspoons of the oil to towel-dried hair, depending on the length of the hair, and leave on for a few hours or overnight. Then wash with a mild shampoo.

Große Flasche war nicht verfügbar das ist schade aber auch verständlich da sehr viele Weizenkörner verfügbar sein müssen. Mit der Farbe war ich diesmal. Ich einverstanden. Es schien so , als wäre alles rausgefiltert, alle guten Dinge. Zu raffiniert ist es nicht gewünscht.

Die bestellten Ölsorten sind gut, allerdings lassen die Verschlüsse zu wünschen übrig. Es ist jetzt bereits schon zum 3.Mal passiert, ,dass sich die Flaschen nicht wieder einwandfrei schließen lassen...

Bei der letzten Lieferung war die Farbe des Weizenkeimöls und dessen Viskosität anders, als bei den ganzen Lieferungen bisher. Ich bin gespannt, wie es dieses Mal ist.

Gefällt mir sehr gut. Ich rühre es in Quark mit Früchten und es verfälscht nicht den Geschmack. Würde ich auch weiterempfehlen.

Die Fettsäurezusammenstellung macht ein seltsames Mundgefühl. Pur finde ich das unerträglich, in Joghurt o.ä. ist es okay.

Organic wheat germ oil is derived from organically grown wheat grains, which are always in very short supply. This conventional wheat germ oil, which has been tested for residues, is in no way inferior to organic wheat germ oil in terms of content and taste.
