Our Mediterranean seasoning oil consists of a blend of herbs with paprika, oregano, pepper, basil, coriander, rosemary, thyme, onions and marjoram in cold-pressed organic rapeseed oil.

It is not without reason that Mediterranean seasoning oil is one of our most popular seasoning oils: it is used to refine Mediterranean dishes such as pizza and paella, meat, fish and soups and immediately gives them an authentic and typical taste of Mediterranean herbs.

With valuable organic rapeseed oil

Anyone who has ever cycled through the Weserbergland at the end of April to the beginning of May will hardly have missed the many yellow fields during the rapeseed blossom. But not all rapeseed is the same: for our fine, cold-pressed edible oil, we naturally use organically grown rapeseed, which, fortunately, is grown by a number of organic farmers in our region. Depending on the harvest conditions, we also source some of our rapeseed from organic farmers in Latvia. So we know for sure that our rapeseed has not been artificially pushed with manure, sewage sludge or artificial fertilizers, has not been treated with herbicides or pesticides and that no genetic engineering is involved.

This is why we conclude fixed cultivation contracts with certified organic farmers year after year and are happy to pay fair prices - so that we can continue to reliably press cold-pressed, virgin organic rapeseed oil for you in our oil mill in the future. As the "olive oil of the north", our organic rapeseed oil even clearly surpasses the "olive oil of the south" in its content of polyunsaturated fatty acids. We use it as the basis for our popular Mediterranean seasoning oil.

Das Öl ist mir zu aufdringlich im Geschmack.

Schmeckt vor allem nach Rosmarin und insgesamt etwas zu wenig intensiv. Das "Würzige Salatöl" finde ich besser / geschmacksintensiver.
