Our organic walnut oil is cold-pressed from unroasted walnuts from organic cultivation. The walnut is a member of the Juglandaceae family. Walnut oil is suitable for both cold and warm dishes. However, due to its high content of unsaturated fatty acids, it should not be used for frying. Walnut is perfect for salads, soups and sauces, desserts, pastries, creams and dressings. The mild nutty flavour pairs perfectly with fruity sweet vinegars like our apple quince balsamic vinegar.
Usage
Perfect for salads, soups and sauces as well as for desserts, pastries, creams and dressings. Because of the high content of polyunsaturated fatty acids, it should not be used for frying.
