Wok with vegetables

Our Wok Oil is a blend of freshly cold-pressed peanut and coconut oils and high oleic sunflower seed oil. The high heat oil is ideal for frying meat, fish or vegetables and is perfect for wok cooking.

Our Organic Cold Pressed Peanut Oil is a cooking oil with a sweet, mild peanut flavour. Peanut oil has a pale, yellow colour. Frying with peanut oil gives off the typical smell of roasted peanuts. Peanut oil becomes cloudy at temperatures below 10°C and should not be stored in the refrigerator. The peanuts are not roasted before being pressed. Virgin organic peanut oil is therefore milder and less intense than roasted peanut oil. Peanut oil is also an oil that can be heated to high temperatures, making it ideal for use in hot dishes.

Organic coconut oil is ideal for high temperatures and is particularly heat stable due to its fatty acid composition. It is hard to imagine cooking without coconut oil these days, especially in countries where coconuts thrive. Exotic organic coconut oil is a very robust oil, rich in valuable lauric acid. The oil owes its heat resistance primarily to the high proportion of saturated fatty acids, which make it long-lasting and heat-stable and prevent the formation of trans fatty acids when roasting, baking and deep-frying.

Ölmühle Solling's frying oil is made from hulled, high-oleic sunflower seeds from controlled organic cultivation. The frying oil has a high oleic acid content of around 80 g per 100 g. It is particularly heat stable and therefore ideal for steaming, roasting, baking and deep-frying. Our frying oil is vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free. It should be stored at room temperature in a tightly closed container. The pouring aid on our bottles makes it easy to measure out the correct amount.

Usage

Ideal for steaming vegetables, roasting or cooking in a wok or pan. For searing meat, poultry and tofu.

Hohe Temperaturresistenz - man kann dem Öl im Wok so richtig schön Feuer machen. Für meinen Geschmack macht sich das Kokosöl etwas zu dominant bemerkbar, insbesondere der Geruch tendiert für mich zu sehr auf die parfümierte Seite. Hier wäre mir ein etwas neutraleres Geschmacksbild lieber gewesen.

Es schmeckt einfach richtig, richtig lecker: ein Freudengenuß für Gaumen & Gesundheit! Wir verwenden es für unsere asiatischen Gemüse-Pilznudelpfanne! Sehr, sehr zu empfehlen! Danke auch für die sehr edle Etikettgestaltung: Farbe & Schrift! Echt gelungen, wie auch die sichere Kartonverpackung.

Das Woköl wurde für unseren neuen Wok Einsatz für einen Weber Grill gekauft. Wir haben mittlerweile schon mehrere verschiedene Nudelpfannen zubereitet und das Öl zeigte sich äußerst schmackhaft. Alle auftretenden Temperaturen wurden gut vertragen.

Die 3 Sterne beziehen sich nicht auf die Qualität, sondern darauf, dass das Öl mir zu mild ist, das Erdnuss-Aroma nicht so gut herauskommt. Ich habe bisher ein Bio-Woköl einer anderen Marke benutzt, daher habe ich den direkten Vergleich.

Dieses Öl ist weitesgehend geschmacksneutral, hocherhitzbar ohne zu Rauchen oder sich zu zersetzen. Ideal für die Wintermonate zum punktgenauen Braten von Steaks und Filet ohne den Geschmack des Fleisches zu verfälschen.
